Aside from myself, pictured above are my husband, David Horrigan; our son, Jean-Paul Horrigan; and our dog, Annie.  We like to be together.

David and I live in Olivenhain, California, which is a small coastal community just north of San Diego.  Jean-Paul graduated from the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon and is now living and working in Washington DC.

I worked as Executive Director of The Bravewell Collaborative until its closing in June 2015.  Bravewell was a group of philanthropists who were dedicated to transforming healthcare and returning the soul to medicine.

I serve as the editorial director for the medical journal EXPLORE: The Journal of Science and Healing

Additionally, I am on the faculty of the Leadership Program in Integrative Healthcare at Duke University and am the editor of their e-newsletter, Integrative Leadership.

I am also the editor of the e-newsletter, Breaking News Briefing, published by the Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine & Health.

I am always open to new and interesting freelance projects.  In addition to my books, my work has appeared in the following journals and magazines:  Spirituality & Health; San Diego Magazine; CHOICES; Science & Spirit; The Inner Edge; Advances in Mind Body Medicine; Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine; EXPLORE: The Journal of Science and Healing; The Westminster Window; Care Network; Critical Care Nurse; H&HN Daily, and The Natural Medicine Journal.
